North Baton Rouge residents, 18 years or older with valid drivers license, will have priority when Auction Broadcasting Company begins recruiting for 125 jobs said company officials

Construction on the 4.2 million dollar, expected open early 2013, project has already begun. Royall said the building is expected to be open by the first week of February and they will place adds in local media and post signs around the facility mid January. The company will have a variety of positions available ranging from cleaning staff to auction clerks and plans to hire 50 employees during it’s first round of recruitment.

Auction Broadcasting Company is a full service auto auction company offering transportation, full and partial automotive reconditioning, telemarketing, and dealer only auctions. The Baton Rouge Metro Airport sold 20 acres of land to the company for it’s seventh location that will located on Blount Road .

Royall said ABC wants to not only better the area economically and once the facility is up and running it plans to partner with local community outreach programs.
