Former Biggest Loser Star Sued For Weight Gain

Everybody on a diet loves a cheat day, but Former Biggest Loser star Tara Costa’s love of them caused are going to her bank account into the “Biggest Loser”.

FC Online Marketing, which owns ilovekickboxing.com, has filed a lawsuit against Costa claiming they entered a fittness promotional agreement, but she didn’t hold up to her end of the bargain.

The former plus-size model tipped the scales at 316 pounds after an out of control daily diet of ‘chicken wings, a pint of ice cream, and waffle fries smothered in cheese and gravy.

Them 23-year-old had rose to fame in 2009 after losing 155 pounds on The Biggest Loser: Couples 2.

According to FC online , they gave Costa’s  foundation $45,000 to use her likeness and image by the marketing company.

Part of their agreement with FC included Costa keeping under a certain weight as she made public appearances and posed for photo shoots.

The company is claiming that she re-gained “far too much weight” in 2011 for them to continue using her as a brand ambassador – which followed a guest appearance she made that same year on The Biggest Loser where she weighed in at 161lbs, a full 22lbs heavier than in 2009.

For her alleged breach of contract FCOM is suing for an unspecified amount in damages.

Nothing would motivate me to get to the gym faster if than the thought of being sued for almost $50,000 and thats exactly what she is doing.

Costa has posted pictures last week on her twitter account of her attempts to shed the wieght and said said: ‘Now it’s not about willpower, it’s about – there might be something wrong up here [her mind].’

Costa explained she will be a recovering food addict for the rest of her life, and being able to accept her addiction is its own victory.
